Welcome to Southern Girls College Football Guide

Thanks for your interest and commitment to Southern Girls College Football Guide. It really tickles me that you are visiting us here!

I’d like to say a bit to help you find the information you need on this site.  If you want to “start from the very beginning”, like Julie Andrews, go to the CONTENT CATEGORIES drop-down box at the right of the page. Click on Fundamentals and start reading the post titled, “Stuff for categories 2, 2.5 and 3!” Then, scroll up to the post titled, “How’dya know that was a penalty?“.

Also, please use the drop-down box to locate the category called, Definitions. Here, you’ll find more information about positions and terms often used by TV/Radio announcers when commenting on the game.

However, if you want a really easy to read compilation of this information (I’m just sayin’), you need to purchase my E-Book, Let’s Kick It Off, Ladies which is available for purchase right here on my site or by clicking this link. How easy is that?

You certainly are welcome to use the drop-down box to read any of the other categories as well!

When reading or visiting the site, PLEASE remember that ANY question is appropriate and none is too simple or too complex, for that matter. I love your questions and comments-they make me feel so good! If I don’t know, I’ll ask someone who does and reply with the answer. Just remember the ol’ addage, “If you’re wondering, somebody else probably is too!”

I spent the weekend in Tuscaloosa al with fellow chi o alums working on the tornado relief project I had not been back to campus since the new stadium was completed. I was so impressed as it fit so well with the old part of the campus. We are so fortunate it was not destroyed. However the destruction in tuscaloosa is undescribable. Please keep those affected in your prayers.

    Charlsa,

When the Smoke Clears from this Weekends Event would you please get us up to speed on terms that are seen in print and on TV. A few are Red Shirt Freshman, Red Shirt Junior, Medical Red Shirt and at times you hear Gray Shirt. And how does it affects a Students Status to Play Football.

Roll Tide. Go Navy Beat Army
