Thanks Charlsa, for another great “Blog Season” of Alabama Tide Football!
As long as there is Football there will be opposing views of who is Number 1 but for this fan there is no doubt. Will be interesting to see the BCS System changes; it could be it is long overdue?? RollllllTide!

I agree there were not as many good bowl games that I wanted to watch this year. The Outback bowl was really thrilling today with the three overtimes. Watching the Ducks, with their great uniforms, and the Badgers game now and it is a good one. Really looking forward to the BCS Championship game. I already have a substitute lined up for the day after.

I agree with you, the strongest conference is by far the SEC. Why else do non-Southern teams now want into the SEC? They want some of the power and the money, too. I can see why people elsewhere are wishing their teams would play in the big game, I get that. Like you “I am old” ha ha and I sure remember an entire lifetime of the Rose Bowl being “the big game” and never did you ever see an SEC team in that game! So I guess I kind of feel like the sands have shifted and what goes around comes around.
I love to watch college ball and I love especially to watch SEC ball. Pure and simple, it’s of a higher caliber. And while my arch-enemy Bama (sorry about that Charlsa) is playing, I still think they DESERVED that spot and I give them their due. The BCS game will be every bit as great as last year’s game when my beloved Auburn beat the Ducks, and I will be watching it. It’s two great teams and it will be good football.

OK St. wins, Clemson wins, Hopefully that will make for some other interesting bowl match-ups, but still leave LSU to play Bama. I really think we can win.
